Word copy and paste bug?

Here is how I get the issue:

Open Safari, or whatever broswer, say goto Apple.com (just using as
example). Highlight and copy.
This puts it on your clipboard.

Now, goto an existing word document. Highlight some text and use your
delete key.

Hit paste, the original thing you copied (the Apple.com address)
appears, not what you just highlighted and deleted from the word
document.

Is this a bug, or just the way it is, meaning you have to officially
use the cut key.

Sorry if I am misunderstanding you, but if you copy A and delete B,
you will paste A because B is not copied. It's supposed to be like
that.

If you mean something else, then post back. Someone will be able to
help you further.

I'm with PhilD on this one - Cut & Delete are *not* the same thing...
Deleted content is not retained on the clipboard so your description sounds
like perfectly normal & expected behavior. Pasting should put in whatever
you last cut or copied.

Sorry guys, you are correct. I also "tested" this down at my local
Apple store. I didn't realize the highlighting something and hitting
the delete key would not paste it back if you just hit paste.
Thanks for the feedback.
