I looked over Word 2007 for the 'Word Count" button even hovering over each
icon looking for a Word Count funtion. It was there but somehow I still
missed it.
And of course, you had a word box at the bottom of the program as well, but
I did not think to look down at the bottom having failed to find it at the
top.
I searched in help to find no useful information at all.
In office Online, I found a thread by searching "word count in 2007" and I
found that I am not the only one to have had problems finding the Word Count
tool.
I believe it would be prudent to include Word Count instructions in the help
files.
