Word Craching

I have my Office XP installed and connected to a network. My word crashes when there is a certain computer that is diconnected from the network, or just turned off. Word doesn't even work if I am disconnected from the network. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The most likely problem is that the default printer is on the network. You
must have the printer driver installed locally. Word cannot work without
access to the printer driver. See
