Word Crashes in Vista Preview Pane

Hi,

Every time I try using the preview pane in vista folders to preview word
document thumbnails Word 2007 crashes other office programmes preview OK I
have run diagnostics but no issues are picked up all updates are installed.

Any ideas welcome.

Make sure that you have the latest printer driver from the manufacturer and
then delete and reinstall the printer. If that doesn't work, what type of
printer are you using?

Terry thanks for your help I have done as you suggested but I'm afraid it
didn't work.

I have a Lexmark X9350 all in one with the latest Vista Driver I am running
Vista Ultimate with a performance score of 5.2.

Try installing a different printer driver set as Windows Default (it doesn't
matter if you don't have the printer, Word just need to see a printer
driver) and test again.

I have tried everything suggested to no avail and I have also upgraded from
Vista Premium to Ultimate (not because of this problem but because I needed
to). It is really annoying as this preview function could be very useful.

Terry, reading another post where you mention add ins I disables google
desktop add in and this has solved the problem thanks for your help
