Word crashes inside of Outlook?

I have two users who are experiencing issues with Word crashing inside of
Outlook 2003. It happens when they start Outlook, and at random (fairly
frequent) times while Outlook is running. The "Microsoft Word 2003 has
encountered an error and needs to close ... would you like to recover your
work". I unchecked the "Use Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages", but they
still get the error. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, updated with service
packs... I'm out of ideas. Both users are using XP Pro with SP2 and the most
recent updates. Is anyone else seeing this problem or know of a fix? I
searched the KB and found an article but it says it only pertains to Windows
98 SE.

Also, it's Exchange 2003. This started on Monday 6/19 for both users. Could a
corrupt email be causing this? If so, is there any simple way to find it? I
made an attempt but it seemed to crash at random times
