Word crashes on opening Font Menu

When I open the Font Dialog Box from the Menu Bar, WORD
crashes consistently.
I use WinDows XP Professional.
The only safe way I can use to change fonts is to use the
Combo Box button in the Word Format Button Bar.
Note: The crash occurs also when I access the Font Dialog
Box from the local Popup Menu.
The Dialog starts to appear and after some seconds,
CRASH !
I sent the report to microsoft...
Waiting for any hint that may help.

This could be caused by a corrupt/incorrect printer driver. Try
obtaining an updated driver from the manufacturer's web site and see
if that resolves the problem.

Thanks for your answer. But
- I have removed all the networked printer
- I have installed only one network printer at each try
This does not help
(HP and Kyocera. For Kyocera I have downloaded th edriver from their site, as you said )
Have you any other idea

Is it possible you have a damaged font? Are the printer drivers installed
locally? Word needs a local printer driver even for a network printer.
