Word Crashes (Tiger?)

Word (Office 2004) crashes constantly. I thought Mac was supposed to be
more stable than PC? What gives?

Incidentally, I've got a PowerBook G4, 1.5GB ram, just upgraded to OSX
Tiger, using little overhead. Using the Notebook view. It just keeps
freezing then I have to force-quit.

Same with Excel.

Please don't post the same message in different newsgroups. At best, it
fragments any answers you may get. It also potentially wastes the time
of those answering questions that have already been answered.

If you really can't figure out which newsgroup is best, cross-post to
both of them by putting both newsgroups in the To: header of your post.
