WORD crashes when copy tool applied

When copying a block of text or a table, anything, WORD crashes and flags up
that an unknown error has ocurred and will restart with auto save document.

How would you do this for Word 2007? I am having the same problem... when
ever I highlight some text and right click to save, paste, copy, etc... word
quits responding. Shuts down and restarts with recovered file. Is it possible
it is a Windows 7 Ultimate compatibility issue? I have only had it for a
month or so... But I never had this problem with Windows XP SP3.
