Potential bug with Word 2007 while using Footnotes. We have a user who when
working in 'Draft' view and inserting footnotes intermittently crashes word.
The user is able to insert Footnotes and edit them, but when (intermittently)
he double clicks to back to the document text on the footnote identifier
number, in the Footnote pane at the bottom of the document, word crashes. The
following information is given in the Error report....
AppName: winword.exe AppVer: 12.0.6504.5000 AppStamp:49e7f5b6
ModName: wwlib.dll ModVer: 12.0.6504.5000 ModStamp:49e7f5f9
fDebug: 0 Offset: 0027d787
This issue can be easily replicated on any machine with Word 2007.
The user can work around this by double clicking back in the text of the
document, but would prefer to work as he did before upgrading to Word 2007.
Has anyone any recommendations ?
Thanks
