Word crashes when spellchecker is run

When I run the spellchecker in word it completes checking the document but
just freezes thereafter - ie it dosen't return to the normal layout I need to
end the word application and re-start it. Any ideas folks?

Anne - many thanks for your response but I tried what you suggested ie
visiting the site and following their suggestions this hasn't seemed to fix
the problem. Further I have Word 98 so do not appear to have the 'Detect and
Fix' option from the help menu. Is this something I can add on or do I need
to upgrade to word 2003?

Any other suggestions as a fix?
