Word crashes when trying to print

Hello, I'm running windows ME and when I send to print any
documnet in Word XP I get the "Microsoft Word has
encountered a problem and needs to close" error, same
thing when I try to open the page properties menu.
It only happens with word, exel, powerpoint and the other
work fine.
I tried everything I could, and I'm running out of ideas =
(.
Help me please!!!!

Hi Veronica,

If the error occurs when you print the first item to rule out is a
corrupt printer driver. Obtain an updated driver from the
manufacturer's web site and see if that resolves the problem.
