Word crashes when user maximizes document

A user is having a problem with word. When she minimizes a document and then
tries to maximize it, word just crashes without any warning, and all other
open docs close also, without saving. Anyone know of any problems like this,
and if so how did they fix it.

It's possible you have encountered a bug in the Handwriting
Recognition services. Try the following:

- Open your Control Panel
- Open Regional and Language Settings (or Text Services for Windows
2000)
- Select the Language tab
- Click Details
- Remove Handwriting Recognition
