word crashes when using print preview or opening multiple files

Hi, I have recentely installed Adobe Acrobat 5.0, which
comes with the pdf writer addin for word 2000. The pdf
writer aspect works flawlessly when executed in word;
however, it seems as though this addin is creating a
problem when I try to open multiple .doc files or attempt
a print preview. Are there any updates I can install to
fix this? I would like to continue using adobe acrobat
and word, but this problem is frustrating.

Any ideas?

To check for Adobe updates try the Adobe site

You could remove Adobe Acrobat and install CutePDF writer. It is free,
significantly faster, and does not mess up Word. www.cutepdf.com
