Word crashing when selecting a particular bullet format

Hi,
When I select Format-Bullets and Numbering and then on the Bullets tab
select one particular format template word is crashing. I don't even
manage to change the format for this template, because as soon as I select
the particular template word is crashing.

How can I avoid this? Should i delete the word template Normal.dot or
won't that help?
I am using Word 2002 with SP3

This could be due to some minor corruption in the Registry. Exit Word
in the Registry navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Word\List Gallery
Presets

And delete the List Gallery Presets key. This key will be recreated
upon restarting Word.

As always, prior to making any changes to the Registry you should
review "Backing up the Registry" and "Restoring the Registry" in the
Registry Help.

In this situation you may also want to use the Registry/Export
Registry file command and export your selected branch. That way if you
find the change wasn't necessary or incorrect you can merge the
deleted branch back to the Registry by double-clicking the resulting
file.

Yes, that solved my problem, and also saved me from hours of frustration...
Thank you.
