word crashing when trying to save

In the last few days I have had massive problems with trying to save
documents in Microsoft word 2007.When I go to save my document by going
to
office button > save as> word document I then get as far has the save as
window, it then crash and restart word with no message please help

I currently running Microsoft office professional plus 2007 on windows vista
business
