Word defaults to no top margin in print view

My word application always opens every new file to NO top margin in
print view. I cannot seem to change this so I have been using a
previous document and deleting all print to form a new blank. Any way
to cure this? Seems to have started mysteriously.

Hmmm.

Maybe you've unwittingly changed your Normal.dot template file so that it
has no top margin.

Try hitting Ctrl-N for a new page and see what your top margin is. If it's
not right, correct it and then Save As a template file and overwrite your
Normal.dot file (after making a copy thereof, natch).

I assume you truly do mean no top margin in "Print layout" under "View." If
you've mistakenly selected View->Normal you won't see the top margin. And
you won't see the bottom margin either, which was not your complaint.
