Does anybody knows if there is a Brazilian/Portuguese spell check for

I think so. In apps/ms office 2004/shared applications/proofing tools, I
have a lot of Brazilian files, including spelling and thesaurus. Word may
not do Portuguese grammar.

If you don't see any proofing files in that location, you may need to go
back to the CD and do a custom install of just the proofing tools.

If you have the files there, then you need to tell Word to use the Brazilian
dictionary by tagging the text as Brazilian. Select text, go to Tools |
Language, select Portuguese (Brazil). If you use Brazilian a lot, there are
other ways to make this easier, post back.

If you don't yet have the application and just wanted to know--the answers
appears to be yes, though I have to say I haven't actually used it. On the
other hand, I don't remember anybody posting here saying the files are there
but they don't work.

Hi,

Word 2004 ships with both Brazillian and Portugeuse proofing tools.
As Daiya mentions they are in the Office 2004\Shared Applicatiions\Proofing
Tools folder.
Both Brazillian and Portuguese have Spelling, Hyphenation and Thesaurus but
no Grammar.

Thanks
