Hi all,
I had the German Dictionary installed in Office XP and now that I upgraded
to 2003 I only have an online Bi-Lingual Dictionary available for German. I
do have right-click word correction capability for German so I know that a
dictionary for German must be installed somewhere. I had the XP Proofing
Tools installed with all the German selected to Run From My Computer. When I
run XP proofing tools setup from the Control Panel to modify the
installation I definately have German stuff installed, including the
thesaurus.
I don't get why I don't have a local German dictionary listed in the
Research Options in the 2003 translation window. Does anybody know how to
just copy a dictionary from say another computer and just put it in with the
other dictionaries? I'm getting so frustrated with this that I just want to
install it on another computer and copy the file and put it where it needs
to be. I can't translate anything unless I am online and that sucks because
I have a slow connection.
Thanks in advance,
