Word Display Issues

Parrotz

I'm using Word 2000. Recently, when the program is running, the display has
started to constanly scan or refresh itself. The mouse cursor turns to an
horuglass icon and a blank horizontal line scans or sweeps the page from top
to bottom. It does this several times a minute and is very annoying. All
the rest of my programs run fine, this is only happening in Word. Any ideas
why?

This group is about Word for Mac only, I'm afraid; you'd be better off
re-posting your question in one of the many dedicated WinWord newsgroups.
