Word Doc crashes when two are minimized

If I am working on two WORD documents and minimize both AND then try to
maximize one of those docu. both documents disappear.

When I open the documents in the document folder, it states "Auto-Recovery"
on the left of my screen. Obviously, if the doc. was not saved just before
the minimizaiton, I lose my work.

I have tried Detect and repair, but that did not help.

Any suggestions.
