Word doc. now won't open properly in word but opens fine in WordPa

I actually have a bunch of the same type of document...all created in Word
2003 that for some reason, when I open them with Word, they only show the one
graphic that was in the layout...all the text and other layout is gone. Then
if I 'open with' WordPad or other word processors, everything is there...so I
don't 'think' the file is corrupt.

I have other similar type documents that work just fine in Word....anybody
have an idea??

Try Open> select your file(s) then to the right of the File Name click down
pointing arrow select Word 97-2003 .doc

See if that works out for you, perhaps your default Normal.Dotm doesn't
accept the original formatting..

Remember 2007 is fairly new and still working out the kinks/glitches

Have you installed a printer driver and set it as Windows Default?
