certain documents in word keep appearing as nonsense
eg....{\f75\froman\fcharset162\fprq2 Times New Roman
Tur;}{\f76\froman\fcharset177\fprq2 Times New Roman
(Hebrew);}{\f77\froman\fcharset178\fprq2 Times New Roman
(Arabic);}{\f78\froman\fcharset186\fprq2 Times New Roman Baltic;}

as you can see it makes no sense at all could it be the way it is being
saved as we have had his pc rebuilt but it keeps happening .once this has
been saved like this is there any way of changing it back ?

That sounds like Field Codes to me (and I'm not an expert on this).

To me it looks like an RTF file that has been opened as a text file or
with the "Recover Text from Any File" chosen in the File>Open dialog
box (so that the codes are visible) and then saved as a Word document.
I think the best you can do is cut and paste the text into a new
document.
