Word Doc with Charts Appearing as QT Icon?

Using Office 2008.

I've been copying charts from Excel and using Paste Special "Picture."
All the docs are saved as Word 97-2004 Document (.doc). Everything
looks great in the Word doc, but when I send the doc to a Windows
Office user the charts I placed in Word appear as Quicktime icons.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem?

Yeah. Technically, it's not "your" problem. It means that the Windows
machine doesn't have the full QuickTime decoder installed.

Instead of using Paste Special, try just "Paste". That puts a different
format in. It might help :)
