Word docs closing from the taskbar when I click!

Hello,

I am having a problem with my Word windows on my taskbar.
When I have a Word document (or 2 or 3) in the taskbar,
and then click on it to re-open it, all of my windows in
my taskbar disappear. Then, when I re-open Word, I can
recover my data. So, I'm not losing anything except for
time since I can't minimise windows or jump back and forth
between documents.

Please Help!

You have found a weird bug in Windows XP. You need to go to the Control
Panel, Regions and Languages dialog, select the Languages tab and click on
the Advanced button. Uninstall the Handwriting Recognition option. That will
clear the bug. Reactivating the handwriting Recognition again is OK and just
removing and enabling it solves the problem.
