I am encountering an issue wherein when I receive an email from a
Winblows machine that contains an attachment made in Word with a .doc
extension, my Word and also textedit say that the file is inuse or
corrupt. I can see the file no problems on my Windows workstation
though. This occurs when the doc file is actually a picture. I am
unsure if the picture is pasted into the Word document or if the
picture is just sent as a .doc file but I am wondering if there is a
way of getting Word on my powerbook to see the file as a valid Word
document.
