Why can't I get an answer for this simple question. I
have posted this three times, that's (3) times. I know
I'm not a a cumputer genuis,,,,, but,,,,, please someone
help me soon or the world's gonna end........

QUESTION:
Could someone help me with this? I put together a word
document with text and I scanned an obituary I clipped
from the local newspaper into the document. When I attach
it to an E-Mail message and send it to my office E-Mail
and I open it all I get is a bunch of square box's
instead of the obit I scanned in and the text I typed in
as a poem.
Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

You haven't received an answer because no one knows one. Attachments often
get scrambled in transmission. If you zip the files before sending them,
they're more likely to make it through unharmed. If you are seeing a
rectangular frame instead of your scan, it could be because you have
"Picture placeholders" checked on the View tab of Tools | Options. I don't
know why you're not seeing the text unless you put it in a text box and are
viewing the document in Normal view, which doesn't display drawing objects.
