Word Document forwarded as attachment change to winmail.dat

On 21 July 03 I have installed Office updates. After this
when I forward any word document as attachment, at other
end it reach as winmail.dat. I never faced this earlier.
Can any one help and advice.

Stop using Microsoft's proprietary Rich-Text Format to format your
e-mails. Use something more Internet standardized, like HTML or plain
text. Microsoft recommends using their RTF only when you can guarantee
the recipient also uses a Microsoft product, like Outlook or Outlook
Express, which is usually only when you are in a corporate environment
where they can mandate what e-mail client their employees will use.
