word document keeps saving as .ink

Every time I try to attach a microsoft word document into an email, it will
save as .doc.Ink. Then the recipient is unable to open up the file. How do
I change this. This just start happening. Thanks.

Is it not .lnk as in LNK?
It could be that you are attaching a link to your document instead of the
document itself, hence you recipient cannot open the file. How you are doing
I am not entirely sure. Can you describe the process you are doing.

Reregister Word. From Start, Run type in

winword /r

and press enter. Word will be reregistered in Windows correctly.
