Word document opening too large on my screen

Hi, whenever I open Word, the document opens too large on my screen.
Each time I have to adjust it to make it the size I want it. Is there
some way to have it open to the size I want every time? I tried
changing the Normal template with no success. Thanks.

Try adjusting the Normal template again, and be sure to space backspace
before closing. This tells Word there has been a change that it needs to
save.

If that doesn't work, more detail, please:

What version of Word, and which view do you usually open in (Normal or Page
Layout?

By too large--do you mean the window size is too big? How much too big?

Or is the text too big, and therefore the Zoom set too high? What do you
want it at?
