Word Document Without Macros Displays "You Have Macros" Dialog

Daren

Hi NG,

I have a tool that combines a number of Word Documents into a single
document using the InsertFile(file) method. This all seems to work fine,
however upon opening the new document, I get the macro security warning
dialog - the intersting thing here is that there are no macros in the
document, any of the documents that were combined into one, nor any of the
templates they reference. When I close the document (regardless of whether I
enable or disable the alledged macros) Word crashes on close with a vbe.dll
error.

Has anyone come across anything similar and have any pointers?

Thanks

It appears this is directly related to my other post concerning the document
grabbing focus. During certain scenarios, VSTO 2005 injects macros into the
document (which I am unable to view) and these macros are causing the dialog
to be displayed. Why this is happening is being investigated.

Hi Daren! Sorry to bug you but does your tool works OK for documents that
have anchored pictures/objects?
I am having a majot problem with pictures that do not move to the next page.

Please let me know how you solve it if time permits.

Many Thanks in Advance,
