Word document won't save

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: intel

I have been trying to get a Word document to save for 3 days. The program just clocks. I am clicking on the "Save As" option and the box never comes up. It has actually been clocking since yesterday!

The one bit of information you left out was the Word version. Can't answer
without it -- sorry.
