There is no "Office Menu" in Word2007. If you don't know the answer to
a question, don't try to bloat your post count with incorrect advice.
Actually "Office Menu" is the name for the menu you get when you
click the Office Button. This is evident from its listing in the
Customize dialog.
So how do you "click the Office Menu"? If you click the Office Button,
it simply appears. If OP is unfamiliar with such things as Customize,
and is looking for a Menu (such as is found in Word2003, perhaps), how
will she know what to do?
But I was addressing your statement that there is no Office Menu in
Word 2007. And I wasn't suggesting that the OP should be looking in
the Customize dialog, just that this dialog does bear out my
assertion that there is an Office Menu; I actually discovered this
the other day when I was looking to find how to add the Save As (or
some other) button to the QAT; as you've seen, I keep forgetting you
can right-click a command and choose Add to QAT!
Could this really be from a man with a Ph.D., a former college professor and
author, editor, or translator of numerous articles and books?
The first two assertions are pure lies.
(Obviously, I wouldn't have made the original posting about the "Click
the Office Menu" mistake if the former USN sailor hadn't _just_ come
off a series of vicious attacks in the immediately preceding thread.)
