Word Documents Not Reponding

We are currently have problems with opening any document that was created
from a template. When attempting to open them word stops responding. We are
on Office XP and Office 2003 and all seem to be having the same problem.
This seems to be only with documents created in the past. Brand new ones
work great. Any ideas?

If you are using Norton Anti Virus, turn off the Office Plug-in option under
Preferences.
