Word Documents

Les

I am using Word 2000 and Windows XP Professional.
When I open two or more files in Word, the files are
listed under the File and also under Windows on the
toolbar. I want the opened files listed horizontally at
the bottom of the screen so that I can click on the file I
want without first havintg to open the File or Window in
the taskbar.

You should have a separate Taskbar button for each Word document in Word
2000, as this is the default, and it's not possible to get any other
behavior without an add-in. That said, perhaps some add-in has been applied.
See http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Customization/SDIMDI.htm.

If perhaps this is actually Word 2002 (Office XP), then there is a setting
for this ("Windows in Taskbar") on the View tab of Tools | Options.
