Word does not see Access queries

lori

I register kids for camp and as the registrations come in
for the day, I print the letters, labels and receipts for
the day or series of days. Last summer I had Window 98
and Word and Access 2000. This year I have Windows XP
and Word and Access 2002 and since I have a "Between
[start date] and [end date]" statement in the access data
base so I can just print the one day's registrations.
Word cannot see those queries with this statement
in it and will not connect. I read a reply that was made
to another person and they said copy the info into a
table. I am trying to simplify my job not make it more
complicated. It used to work why won't it do it now.

Help Please!!!!!!!!

Hi Lori,

The difference is due to a different default connection
method Word uses to bring in the data. you need to go back
to the old method in order to use a parameter query.

Read up on this topic in the Word 2002 section of my
website's mail merge FAQ.
