Hi All
I'm looking into a problem on a friend's computer-- they've
got a Gateway PIII PC, Windows ME (not sure about the patch
level), 512mb main memory, 20gb hard drive. Word 2000 came
installed with the machine from day one. About a month
ago, whenever anyone attempts to start Word, a dialog box
appears that says something like: "There is not enough
memory or disk to start Word." The dialog box has an OK
button-- click it, and the machine will either recover or
blue screen. (Unfortunately, I don't have the text of the
Blue Screen.)
Has anyone seen this behaivour before? I've searched the
Knowledge Base, and there are two entires... but I'm asking
around just to make sure I'm not missing anyting.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
