Word Doesn't Work

Every time i run word after a while it quits and displays:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: ...\WINWORD.EXE
abnormal program termination

What Can I do

Does other applications such as Excel or Access or Power Point work? If
so then you can try Detect & Repair function from any one application
(except Word which you can't start!):

Help, Detect & Repair.

If none of the applications work then you will need to re-install Office
again using your original CD.

Even though Detect and Repair corrected the issue it's likely you
could encounter the error again. A runtime error in Visual C++ Runtime
Library means there is an error in an add-in attempting to run which
is not part of the Word installation. I suspect Detect and Repair
modified some Registry entries which prevented the add-in from
loading. IOW, should the add-in be reinstalled, (typically they are
installed by other third-party utilities such as a printer or scanner)
then the error could occur again.
