Word e-mail template in Outlook

I'm using Outlook XP and the MS Word editor. Can anyone
tell me how to change the template that automatically
comes up in Outlook when I want to type a new message?
All I want to do is change the 'after' spacing in the
paragraph format. Right now it always comes up in 'auto'
and I want to chage it to '0'. Thanks. Frustrated in
Austin.

Start composing a new message, under the Tools menu,
choose Options and click on the Edit tab. At the very
bottom, you will see a drop down box that lets you select
a style for your paragraph.

I would also check to see if your mail format is set to
HTML. Close your message, and in Outlook under the Tools
menu, choose Options, and select the Mail Format Tab. I
found that my standard signature became double spaced
when I changed the format from HTML to Rich Text. I don't
know why happened.

Hope this was helpful.
