Word Editor and Custom form Issue in OL2003

S

SMAZ

We are using a custom outlook message form.

The custom form has published by setting Format > Plain Text
MessageClass: IPM.Note.CustomFormName

We are using OL2000 and OL2002 SP3; this custom form is working fine in
these environments. If we use Word as an email editor then we are able to use
AutoText or Highlight features on that custom form within these environments
(OL2000 & OL2002 SP3).

Now we are moving to OL 2003 SP2.

Scenario 1:
Form: Standard Mail Message
@ Click on New mail button.
@ Right click near Defaults menu > Pop-up menu appears (Standard,
Formatting, AutoText, Control Toolbox, Database, Drawing, etc)
@ Checked autotext menu.
@ Type “To Whom “ (a tool tip text appears (To Whom it May Concern: (Press
ENTER to Insert)
@ Type something new then it is able to add this new word or phrase in
AutoText entries.

Scenario 2:
Form: Custom form for Correspondence Mail
Message Class: IPM.Note.CustomFormName
1. Sent an email using the same custom form from within OL2000 or OL2002
environment
2. Opened that custom form (for replying) in OL2003 SP2
2. (A) Right clicked near defaults menu a pop-up menu appears containing
list of following menu (Standard, Formatting, AutoText, Control
Toolbox, database, Drawing, etc)
2. (B) I can type or delete the text on this form (In OL2000 & OL2002 this
form opened in Read only because for reading purpose only! This is happening
only in OL2003 SP2)
3. Click Reply or Reply to all buttons. Now when I right click near default
menus for selecting AutoText or other feature at this time a pop-up menu
appears with only these sub menus (Standard, Formatting, Customize…)

Is there something wrong with Word Editor when using with Custom forms in
OL2003?

Help in this regard would be highly appreciated.
