Hello, I would very much appreciate your help on this.
I have set Word 2003 as message editor for Outlook 2003 (XP/SP2).
Everything was fine for a week !
But while answering an message with a Word attached file (which I read),
after a dozen keystrokes, the editor window disappeared. This happens for all
new messages or replies (always). Moreover now Word used alone gives me the
same problem. When I get rid of the normal.dot file (and backup), it works
again, but only for a while.
Thought it was a virus: made extensive test (with system restauration
disabled): Symantec AV / AVG + CWShredder + Ad-Aware + Spybot + a-squarred,
....
Could not find anything wrong!
I came to think it is a problem with Outlook/Word (none of my other Office
softwares present the same problem). No file disappeared. Simply I loose the
few changes made before the window disappears.
I also unselected Word as my Outlook message editor, then Word as a
standalone is fine ... until I use Outllok!
Of course I made the "detect and repair" Office procedure several times.
What could I do now ?
