I have been using Word as my email editor since February. Now when i
go to reply to an email an error message comes up saying,
"Microsoft Word is set to be your email editor. However, Word is
unavailable, not installed, or is not the same version as Outlook. The
Outlook email editor will be used instead."
I have done the "detect and repair" and it worked for one email and
then it did it again. I am currently using Outlook 2003 and Word
2003. I have XP pro SP2. The Office edition i am using is 2003 SP2.
I have restarted the computer several times and i have also looked for
updates and patches on the internet. The problem just started this
morning and I havent changed anything on my system as far as OS or
Office version. Everytime i go to change the setting under "Tools"
"Options" "Mail Format" and i check the box next to "Use Microsoft
Word 2003 to edit my emails"
Does Anyone know why this might be happening to me? I am out of ideas
short of reinstalling Office 2003.
Thanks for all your help,
Christian
