Word & Epson Twain import working with Panther?

Hey gang-

Somewhere along the way of upgrading to Panther 10.3.2 and installing
the latest Epson Twain scanner drivers for my Epson 1250 scanner, I lost
the ability in Word to use the Twain import feature.
(Insert->Picture->From Scanner...)

This worked okay for me under Jaguar and with the older Twain driver.
Is anyone successfully using Panther and the Epson Twain scanner drivers
with Word 10.1.4?
