Word Error Message

When I try to open a document, I keep getting the error msg 'The command
cannot be performed because a dialog box is open. Click OK and close box'
I just click OK and the document opens.

Can anyone help please?

Disable the Office Plugin that comes with Symantec/Norton AntiVirus. See
