Word Error Signature

Upon starting Word 2000 the following error occurs:
Error signature Appname:winword.exe
Appver:9.0.0.07924 Modname:ntdll.dll
Modver:5.1.2600.1217 Offset:0006112b

Could someone please help me resolve this?
