word error

For the last two days I have received a Microsoft Office Word error that
shuts down Word and Outlook. This message appears about every 5-10 minutes
regularly. I'll attach a screen shot of the error message.

Do I need to have MS Word and/or Outlook reinstalled?

Please let us know the version of Office and version of Windows as well as
the error message.

Clairvoyance isn't one of our attributes. ;)

Reinstalling rarely resolves problems but what to do depends on version.

Have you had more than one document open when this occurs? Have you been
restoring a document by clicking on the Taskbar icon. Or does this just
happen at any time at all?

First suggestions are:

With all applications closed - preferably after a fresh reboot - go to the
user temp folder (usually Documents and Settings, Username, Application
Data, Local) and delete all the abandoned temp files. (This folder should be
empty except for one or two newly created - on reboot - temp files: kill the
remainder.)

Making sure that you have the latest driver for your printer, delete and
reinstall the printer.

Word uses the printer driver extensively and needs a printer driver to work.
If there is a problem with the printer driver (say it is corrupt or out of
date), Word will crash. Without a locally installed printer driver, Word
won't even open.
