word error

when i first open word i get an error message that says
The Address Fixer DLL (ADDRFX32.DLL) could not be found.

what do i do about this error. I have done a search on my
hard drive for this file and could not find it. is there a
download for this.

It sounds as if an add-in in Word's Startup folder is looking for its
library. Look at Tools | Templates and Add-ins to see what add-ins are
loading. Whichever one is related to Address Fixer is clearly useless at
this point and can be moved out of the Startup folder.

Very odd. I couldn't find any reference to ADDRFX32.DLL in the Knowledge Base. You can also check for any interference
form a 3rd party app by testing to see if the problem happens in Windows Safe mode.

I have run into this once before and fixed it by re-
installing Office.
