Word & Excel 2002 in Office XP Pro

Both Word & Excel have a pop up window which states "the
file *.* is not available.

On exiting a new document "Save Normal.dot" YES or NO.

Then Global changes to Normal.dot, do you want to save,
YES or NO.

Any file can be copied and opened by other computers but
this unit will not open any existing Word or Excel
Document.

Please help

[KB328613]" at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=328613 for one possible
explanation. The prompt to save Normal.dot is likely caused by a
malfunctioning add-in. One of the most common is the Microsoft Works Suite
Add-in for Word.
