Word/Excel 2003 Copy issues

Just noticed this problem when copying cells from excel to word.

When copying a large amount of data from an excel table to word the
application will hang/use 100% of the cpu. The copy and paste operation will
finally finish after about 15 min. anybody have any ideas.

Noah,

I have not found any documentation that this is known issue. Does this
happen when you have a new Word file and a new Excel file?

Would you please provide detailed steps (including # of cells & their
contents) so I may attempt to reproduce?
