All of a sudden, my Office 2003 files will not open from the file icons, nor
will they open through Explore or with right click>Open. Unlike posts I have
read that address similar issues, I get a "Program Not Responding" error
message rather than a 'can't find file', for example. I can open files from
Word, Excel and Access.
No viruses were detected upon scan and the file associations are correct. I
have noticed that the problem corrects upon reboot, but it doesn't last.
After rebooting, I can open a files from icons, but eventually, I'll get the
'Program Not Responding' error message.
I'm using Office 2003 Professional and XP. Thanks in advance for any
