Hi,
The wierds of things has started happening with Word, Excel and Outlook
on my installation. For Word and Excel (Office 2003) When opening a
document or worksheet from Explorer either application crashes (9/10
times) and of course I get the "Send Error Report to MS" dialog. If I
start Word or Excel with no document specified and then open the
document from within the applications, it all works fine.
What's interesting, and this has probably nothing to do with Office, is
that once I installed Windows XP SP2 I no longer get the "Error Report"
dialog and the applications just crash and "disappear".
I have installed the latest service packs for office and have tried
numerous other things in vain. This has become extreemly frustrating
and I'm hoping someone out there has some idea of what I can do to get
this sorted.
As for Outlook, every now and then when I start it up is just simply
crashes and "disappears" and the only way I can get out of this cycle
is by starting it up in safe mode a couple of times before it will open
with no issue.
Look forward to you ideas on this.
Regards,
Victor Rodrigues
